Course Description

In this introduction to ethical hacking course, you'll learn about the tools hackers have available to help you better protect your network. The tools are the same as those used by penetration testers to check the security on networks. Reconnaissance and enumeration techniques as well as illustration of attacks are covered. Metasploit and Armitage, the primary ethical hacking software, is introduced.

The course is designed to give you a real-world view of vulnerabilities in the network and what can happen if your network is compromised. Hands-on labs reinforce what you will learn. We'll also review basic steps you can take to protect your network. This course is not designed to be preparation for your Certified Ethical Hacker exam.
