Course Description

Students will learn basic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory of health and disease, selected protocols for treatment including various point locations and self-help techniques. Includes ample student practice of Acupressure treatments.

Learner Outcomes

  • Summarize and discuss the theory of TCM
  • Demonstrate understanding of selected Acupressure protocols.
  • Recognize point locations and their effectiveness for treatment.
  • Explain and identify various Acupressure assessment methods, differentiation of syndromes, and other methods of treatment.
