Interested in preparing great tasting healthy food and learning a little about nutrition at the same time? We've prepared a series of great classes with chefs that will expand your culinary repertoire and give insight into eating for wellness. 

As a personal chef for with over 25 years experience, Alyssa Moreau has made a reputation among her clientele for creating delicious vegetarian meals. As a food lover with a strong interest in healthy diets, Alyssa combines good flavor with good nutrition and practical tips for the home cook. 

Course Outline

It can be kind of tough being a vegetarian in Hawaii who loves local kine foods. Just how can you get your flavor fix and keep it 100% healthy? Local girl Alyssa knows how! For this class you'll learn how to make great tasting vegetarian versions of local favorites like: poke, musubi (with teriyaki tofu), loco moco (believe it or not), mochiko tofu, and a seriously amazing cauliflower "fried rice". Chance'em, you'll like it. 

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style healthy dishes.
