Course Description

Instruction in Process Technology and General Maintenance to include: applied math, systems configuration, monitoring instrumentation, evaluating data, safety protocols, operation of analog and digital control systems and troubleshooting.  General Maintenance to cover: hand and power tools (safety and operation), framing and carpentry, basic plumbing and repair, pipe fitting basics and tools, electrical basics with troubleshooting and repair, refrigeration basics with troubleshooting and repair, drywall and paint repair techniques and window door and entry hardware repair and maintenance.

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course the student will have an in-depth understanding of applied math and process technology, as well as the fundamentals of general maintenance.
