Course Description

Chef Orly Yadao will guide bakers through understanding dessert textures, colors, light and space, and flavors. He will demonstrate how to make Ganache, pastry cream, Butter cream, flavored creams, mousses, Struesel, and crumbles. Students will learn to layer textures and colors to make tasty desserts. You will also learn to decorate to make beautiful presentations.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this class students will be able to:

  • Understand dessert textures, colors, light and space, flabors and learn how to create them
  • Build cake, cupcakes
  • Build parfaits and desserts
