Interested in preparing great tasting healthy food and learning a little about nutrition at the same time? We’ve prepared a series of great classes with chefs that will expand your culinary repertoire and give insight into eating for wellness.

As a personal chef for with over 25 years experience, Alyssa Moreau has made a reputation among her clientele for creating delicious vegetarian meals. As a food lover with a strong interest in healthy diets, Alyssa combines good flavor with good nutrition and practical tips for the home cook.

Course Outline

If you want to eat healthier, one of the best ways to create a satisfying meal that’s rich in veggies is to pump up the flavor to 10. Eating boldly spiced foods from around the world will keep your palate happy, and keep your belly full at the same time. Alyssa loves to cook foods with international flair, so she has put together a great menu of smells, textures and tastes. In this class, Alyssa will teach you how to make chilorio tacos (normally a spicy pulled pork taco, but in this case, tofu), socca with romesco sauce (a classic Provencal chickpea flour pancake served with a Spanish almond and red pepper sauce), a tofu poke bowl with Asian flavors, and a Korean-inspired bowl of crispy tofu with Korean veggies and gochujang

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style healthy dishes.
