Course Description

Your next step in the exploration of bakery goods, Chef Wetter will teach you how to make rich doughs, i.e., lots of butter, sugar and yeast to make things fluffy and tasty. In this two-part class chef will teach you how to make wonderful cinnamon rolls, kouign amann, sticky buns and Chef Wetter's incredible malasadas. This is a two-Saturday class! 

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and baking techniques to produce home style baked goods.

KCC pastry arts instructor Chef Dan Wetter is back in the continuing education line up! Chef Wetter is a baking instructor par excellence. His recipes are wonderful and he’s a terrific teacher as well. We’re very lucky to have him. You’ll see that we’ve opened up two sessions of each class, so you all have a chance to learn from one of Hawaii’s best.
