Course Description

Language plays a key role in communicating our ideas, thoughts and feelings at work, home and in public situations. Whether giving directions, teaching a task or topic, carrying on a conversation or asking questions, the words you choose can impact the success of communication. 

Learner Outcomes

At the completion of training, participants will be able to: 

  1. Identify verbal (language) factors that impact behavior, communication styles and business operations. 
  2. Understand how language (word) choices impact communication. 
  3. Choose words that effectively help to covey thoughts and feelings.
