BUS3208 - Working in Groups
Course Description
The first in the series of "Collaborating with Others", participants will develop a better understanding of what is involved in group work. Learners will discover the types of role they prefer when working in group situations. Developing an understanding of what is involved in group work and the phases we go through in group development will help individuals work toward team development.Learner Outcomes
At the completion of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Define the different types of group situations.
- Identify the stages in group development.
- Identify the roles they prefer to take on in groups.
- State how norms are established in group situations.
