BUS3209 - Communicating in Diverse Groups
Course Description
Everyone has an agenda when participating in groups. Groups can sometimes be a challenge for participants with individualist backgrounds. Successful group work starts with identifying the strengths of each person and what they bring to the group. Learning about the decision-making process and how we can incorporate each person's talents is key to group success.Learner Outcomes
- Identify the various decision-making processes.
- Choose an appropriate method to make decisions as a group.
- Differentiate between individualistic and collectivistic cultures.
