Course Description

The statewide KapCC Pharmacy Technician program is the oldest pharmacy technician program in the state. The big win for students is that it includes an in-person pharmacy externship, allowing for unlimited real-world learning. It combines 145-hours of classroom instruction delivered synchronously through Zoom by a fabulous instructor with decades of professional work experience as a pharmacy technician, along with a 160-hour hands-on pharmacy externship to maximize your real-world learning, employment potential, and empowering you to pass the PTCB national certification examination. Neighbor Island students will be placed at a pharmacy externship site on their respective island.
