Course Description

Learn how to play with textures to find their own individual styles by Gridding to replicate photographs - Practical knowledge on how to paint an Oceanscape at location - An introductory lesson on Oceanscape color mixing. - Information on brush care. - Knowledge on how to use techniques and apply them in real life settings. Please bring a smock or apron to protect your clothing. Please bring the following supplies to class with you: 1 16x20 Canvas or Canvas Board, Asst. Medium brushes of their choosing, a daytime Ocean photograph that they would like to paint (although I will provide some), Paint cup, rag, Minimum 4oz tube Acrylic Medium Bodied paint in the following colors: Phthalo Green, Titanium White, Mars Black, Cobalt Blue, Raw Umber, Deep Yellow. Optional: Easel, Apron, additional Acrylic Colors.
