Course Description

Come join Chef Krista Garcia on this tasty tour of flatbreads and spreads from around the world. We will be making, just to name a few: Scallion Naan with Cilantro Mint and Tamarind Chutneys, Moroccan Chickpea Flatbreads with Tomato Shallot Jam, and Lavash Crackers with a Caramelized Onion Dip. Dishes are inspired by live fire cooking, and learning how to adapt this for your home oven or grill. You will feel like you traveled to far away places, and find how easy it can be to recreate this experience for friends and family. We will have a chance to enjoy our work during class, and everyone will be taking a sample box home, in addition to a booklet of fantastic recipes.

Notes

For safety and sanitation reasons, we ask that students wear closed-toed, slip resistant shoes, and have long hair tied back. Bring an apron to wear if you would like.
