Course Description

ServSafe Food Handler training is the basic sanitation certification for managers and staff working in certified kitchens. The training covers topics including Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-contamination and Allergens, Time and Temperature, Cleaning and Sanitation. Students passing the exam with a score of 75% or better, will receive a Food Handler Certificate valid for three years.

ServSafe Food Handler training is basic sanitation certification for managers and staff working in certified kitchens. Textbook and exams are included. Those who pass the exam with scores 75% or better, receive a Food Handler Certificate valid for three years. This ANSI certification is approved by the Department of Health due to revised statutes effective September 2018.
