Course Description

Tired of turkey and all the starches? Join us for a true Italian cooking experience. In this class, Chef Rosa Mariotti demonstrates cooking techniques for your next meal. This delicious Italian Thanksgiving menu includes: Appetizer: Roasted butternut squash soup with grilled cheese croutons, Main Dish: Rosa di Parma (prosciutto and parmigiano stuffed pork loin), Side Dish: roasted pears in EVOO and balsamic, and for Dessert: Torta Sorrentina Dacquoise stuffed with cannoli filling.


Participants should bring an apron, wear closed-toed shoes, and have long hair tied back for safety and sanitation reasons. This class is located in the Maui Food Innovation Center Demonstration Kitchen in Laulima Building Room 106.
