Course Description

Students will explore and develop drawing skills and techniques through various demonstrations and drawing studio exercises.  Through experimenting with style, technique, and various drawing media, students will increase their artistic confidence, their ability to translate life into 2-dimensional image, and truly understand the concept of "looking" vs "seeing". 

Learner Outcomes

1).  Learn  various drawing techniques and styles

2).  Learn the visual elements of drawing and composition

3).  Understand looking vs. seeing

4).  Develop facility with various drawing media

5).  Gain drawing from like skills

Notes

The following supplies are needed for the course.  You do not need to purchase a new set if you already have the supplies.  Pad of Bristol art paper, set of drawing pencils, set of Charcoal and Conte, 1 Kneaded erasure.  Supplies:  $23.00
