Course Description

Did you know that with inexpensive ingredients and equipment you can legally brew 200 gallons of beer per year?

Take a brief journey through history to beer’s origin and its role shaping the world.  Learn about beer styles, individual characteristics and ingredients.  Learn to review and pair beer. with food. Then, learn to brew your own beer at home by making an all grain beer in class.  Michael Mochizuki a Certified BJCP Beer Judge will walk you through the simple extract brewing method to the more advanced all grain brewing method.  His award-winning brewing knowledge and experience will help simplify the process, ensure you have the knowledge to make great beer, and understand more about the beverage you enjoy.

Whether you are a novice or experienced home brewer, you will leave this class with a renewed sense of history and technique.

Please bring a picture ID. Participants must be 21 years of age.
