This course focuses on the underlying competencies of a BA and how to build and measure the value business analysts bring to an organization.  The BA Competency Assessment tool is introduced as a way to baseline one’s competency in business analysis and measure progress over time.  This tool will not only measure yourself or team members and track progress, but will help you identify your experience and plan a path for continued growth useful for any individual as well as team managers.  Real life examples will supplement the industry’s body of knowledge to help articulate how business analysis can impact an organization as well as further define the skill set of a business analyst including application in technology environments.
