Course Description
Description: Provides an overview of the physical sport of volleyball with emphasis on beginning skills and knowledge relative to serving, passing, spiking, digging and blocking. Introduces fundamental offensive and defensive playing strategies. Learning Objectives: • Describe and/or explain the applicable history, rules, cure=rent research, safety and etiquette related to the specific activities taught. • Describe and demonstrate basic proficient in the execution of the motor/sport skills appropriate to the level of specific activities/skills competed. • Discuss and/or explain the benefits of physical activity as related to physical and mental health.Learner Outcomes
