Course Description

Critical Attitudes and Communication Skills for Successful Client Engagement: The relationships we build with our clients are the most powerful ingredient in successful client outcomes. Explore the attitudes and communication skills proven effective for engaging clients in the beginning stages of a helping relationship, beginning with the very first encounter. Through small group breakouts and exercises this workshop will provide multiple opportunities to practice skills and gain from the collective wisdom of other community members. Come and learn with your peers, be inspired and recharge!

2. Identify 4 listening skills and their application in a helping conversation.
