Course Description

Are you vegetarian? Do you love family get togethers on Easter? Do you want to make sure there’s something good to eat when you get there? Well, this is the class for you! Alyssa has a full spring menu that’s creative and so delicious, even non-vegetarians will praise your arrival. We’ll start with a pea mint bisque, make a mixed green salad with hibiscus vinaigrette, pop an asparagus mushroom quiche into the oven, and for dessert, a petite carrot cake with cashew crème frosting. 

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style healthy dishes.

As a personal chef for with over 25 years experience, Alyssa Moreau has made a reputation among her clientele for creating delicious vegetarian meals. As a food lover with a strong interest in healthy diets, Alyssa combines good flavor with good nutrition and practical tips for the home cook.
