Course Description

This program has been designed to teach parents and caregivers of children ages 5-12 a method of parenting and problem solving that will help them prepare their children to courageously meet the challenges life will pose and it will help them build relationships that will bring them joy and satisfaction for a lifetime.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will learn important skills such as how to:

 
  • communicate effectively with your children

  • prevent the use of alcohol, Tabaco and other drugs

  • discipline while teaching responsibility

  • encourage the development of self-esteem and character

  • re-direct misbehavior and sidestep power struggles

  • explore and encourage nonviolent conflict resolution inside the home and out
