Course Description

This is a crepes class. Chef Salvo loves to make crepes for his French wife. They are simple to make and incredibly versatile so they are good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late night meal. For this class, Chef Salvo will teach you sweet and savory crepe dishes. You’ll make crepes with chicken, mushrooms, roll them, cover with béchamel sauce and brown in the oven. We’ll do the same procedure with crepes stuffed with spinach, ham, and cheese, then topped with fresh tomato sauce and cheese. For dessert, you’ll make crepes filled with sweet ricotta cream and fresh mango.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style healthy dishes.
