Course DescriptionDo you help care for a family member or friend who is elderly, frail, disabled, or has a chronic illness? Then this is the workshop for you! In this three-hour workshop, you will gain valuable information and hands-on practice with transferring skills, fall prevention, incontinence care, toileting, bathing, hygiene, grooming, dressing, dental care, feeding, and nutrition.
1. Be able to demonstrate a transfer.
2. Be able to groom, dress an individual.
3. Feel comfortable with basic care of a friend or family member.
