Course Description

The Blue Zone project, in association with the Hawaii United Okinawa Association, present a cooking demonstration using Okinawan super foods (like bitter melon and sweet potato leaves). Chef Grant Sato will discuss traditional and modern methods for preparing these incredibly nutritious ingredients, and, you'll be able to sample everything he makes!

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn about traditional and modern recipes and techniques to prepare healthy dishes using Okinawan ingredients.
