Course Description

This National Safety Council DDC - 6/8 certified course is a comprehensive driver improvement program offering practical knowledge to avoid crashes with defensive driving techniques. Emphasis is placed on the application of safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors.

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
1. Describe the need for and benefits of defensive driving.
2. Identify risky driving attitudes and behaviors.
3. Label if a collision was preventable.
4. Recall the benefits of occupant restraint systems.
