Course Description

Our Writing Retreat is not exactly a class but is an opportunity to meet and write in company with other beginning and experienced writers. Here we tap into our mutual creative energy. After introductions, we collect ideas in response to a starter prompt, then each person begins to draft a story, poem, memoir, argument or whatever. In small groups we read these diverse pieces and give each other non-critical reader responses.

As a safety precaution participants should not attend if they are sick.

Bring writing materials, your own lunch, snack and beverages. Class meet on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Building location varies. Please see individual course listing for class location.
