Course Description

Introduces various quantitative computational procedures used in accounting and finance such as present and future value concepts, payroll, inventory, and international currency exchange rates. Utilization of the electronic 10-key pad as a tool for calculating will be stressed.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

Online Unscheduled (Asynchronous): This class is conducted completely online and does not have specific meeting times. 

Required: Access to a PC (not Mac) with Internet and Office 365. The PC version is highly recommended due to compatibility issues with the Mac version of Microsoft Office.

Hybrid (Combination of F2F and Online): Part of the class will meet on campus, either in-person or in a VideoConference room, at the scheduled days, times, and room. The remaining class instruction and learning activities will be online, either Synchronously at the days and times listed (using software such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, RealPresence, etc. Students must have a working camera and microphone), or posted on a site such as Laulima without specific meeting times.
