Course Description

As part of our Dementia Care Series, this class is recommended for caregivers of a friend or family member with Dementia.  The instructor will demystify unwanted behaviors associated with dementia and what is lost with brain change and how it affects feelings and actions.

 

Learner Outcomes

Student Learning Outcomes:

1).  Students will be able to identify brain changes in dementia cases that may affect their behavior.

2).  Students will learn to use sense and remaining abilities to cue (vision, verbal, and touch).

Notes

This course could be taken as part of the Dementia Care Series Bundle. The bundle is listed under ENR3186.
