ENR3186 - Dementia Care Series - (Bundle)
Course Description
(This bundle includes Dementia Stages, Communication with Compassion, and Demystifying Behavioral Changes with Dementia)
As part of our Dementia Care Series, this class is recommended for caregivers of a friend or family member with Dementia. The instructor will cover the GEMS model, which recognizes the dynamic nature of the human brain and its abilities. Additionally, the instructor will cover a positive look at dementia stages and appropriate activities for the different GEMS.
Learner Outcomes
1). Students will be able to identify a GEM.
2). Students will be able to come up with activities for different GEMS.
