HLTH3027 - Tactical Combat Casualty Care - All Combatants (TCCC-AC)
Course Description
Tactical Combat Casualty Care - All Combatants course teaches evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. NAEMT conducts TCCC courses as specified by the Co-TCCCs guidelines and curriculum. TCCC for All Combatants is a 1-day classroom course for non-medical military personnel and includes first responder skills.
Non-state licensed and/or non-EMS providers may be admitted at the discretion of the course instructor/coordinator (these outside providers may reach the course instructor/coordinator using contact information provided within the course detail).
Learner Outcomes
* Understand the limitations of direct threat care, while "active fire" is still present.
* Appreciate the priorities of indirect threat care, when a threat has been suppressed but may possibly resurface.
* Establish and execute plans for tactical evacuation case, determine the best mode of access and egress for injured victims.
* Practice basic and advanced methods of hemorrhage control.
* Refine techniques for surgical airway and thoracostomy.
* Review other key treatments using "ruggedized" equipment and methods.
* Strategize best practices for "force protection" for responders and movement of victims.

Kapi‘olani Community College Refund/Drop Policy:
100% refund: Notification to Non-Credit Registration made 10 business days or more prior to start date of course.
50% refund: Notification to Non-Credit Registration made 5-9 business days prior to start date of course.
0% refund: Notification to Non-Credit Registration made less than 5 business days prior to start date of
course.
PLEASE READ: All courses are first come first served, with preference given to State of Hawaii EMS licensed providers. Non-state licensed and non-EMS providers will be admitted at the discretion of the course director/instructor, with fees additional to the card fee. Often classes fill up quickly; therefore, it is highly recommended you sign up for this class as soon as possible. Those on the “first come-first served” wait list who gain access will be notified by the college prior to the start of class so long as adequate time allows. Non-state EMS providers may be denied admission even after registration based on space availability due to the preferential listing of State of Hawaii EMS providers. Confirmation will occur 1 week prior to course date.
