Course Description

This four hour course prepares participants to be certified by the Health & Safety Institute (HIS), in Medic First Aid Pediatric and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid Course.

Learner Outcomes

The learner will:

  1. Understand the importance of CPR and its impact on survival.
  2. Recognize the signs of someone needing CPR.
  3. Perform CPR for adults, children and infants.
  4. Understand the importance of early use of an AED and demonstrate its use.

Notes
