Course Description

If you are planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking country this course will provide you with the necessary tools to be functional in your everyday life during your stay.  Acquiring basic knowledge of Spanish targeted to travelers will help you meet your needs with more ease and how to respond in an emergency; but most importantly, your contacts will be more pleasant and your experience will be more enjoyable.

Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course each student:

will learn the right words and phrases for ALL travel situations  

  • will learn how to speak Spanish in order to:  greet people, introduce himself/herself and others, exchange courtesy phrases, get to places, check in at a hotel, shop, order food and drinks, use the telephone, and handle emergencies and much more.
