Course Description

Kapi`olani Community College will provide a unique half-day Intensive Hawai`i Environmental and Culture Program for high school students from Fujieda City, Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. The program will focus on the environmental sustainability and culture in Hawai`i.

Student Learning Outcomes:

1). Describe the basic principles and concepts of sustainability in Hawai`i.

2). Demonstrate an example of Hawaiian culture.
