Course Description
Does public speaking make you nervous? You're not alone! Planning, preparing and presenting "mini-packages" will hold your audience's attention and entice them to want to hear more from you. Learn different techniques that also target specific audiences based on Hawaii's rich and uniquely cultural diverse population.Learner Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Prepare an audience analysis to determine specific needs.
- Organize and prepare talking points for a presentation.
- Select information to support and clarify ideas for a presentation.
- Prepare visual aids that will help your audience better understand concepts or ideas.
- Deliver a presentation using effective verbal and non-verbal skills.
