Course Description

Crocheting is inspiring. Put down the smartphone and be creative! Crocheting is trending, it’s fun, and can be rewarding for you, your friends and family. 

This is an introductory class get comfortable with crochet. Only one tool is needed, plus yarn. Beginners will learn to control the crochet hook and yarn. You will be able to choose for a list of easy projects, receive personal attention and have fun in a calm artistic environment.

Gloria McMeans has been a practicing crochet for over 40 years. Throughout the years her hand-crafted items have become precious heirlooms and keepsakes. She will share her experience with projects using pre-printed patterns like toys and baby gifts, and other free-form patterns like scarves, tops, and dresses.
