Course Description

Present ideas with confidence, strength, energy and personal style. Develop communication and engaging presentation skills that can be utilized one on one, in a group setting or in a public forum. This is a fun and interactive hands-on class with individual feedback and instruction that yields great results. Instructor Nancy Jill Sundberg has 20 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry as well as working as an event coordinator in which she refined organization and interpersonal communication skills. An extensive background in the performing arts, including Stand Up Comedy (NYC and Maui) and professional MC, has prepared her for offering youth, adults, and corporate sales and marketing teams classes in self-expression, comedy and public speaking skills. Nancy holds a BA in Theatre from UH Manoa and is the owner and creator of Stand Up Express consulting, established in 1999.

Notes

Materials Participants need to bring an 8 1/2 x 11 notebook and pen. Presentation ideas, topics and goals are encouraged, but not required. There will be opportunities to develop and generate content.
