Course Outline

Instructor Bio: Joy Waters is passionate about creating life-changing media content and events, and has been inspiring Hawai‘i community towards plant-based, eco-friendly living for over 15 years. She produced a TV show called “Tasty and Meatless” for Time Warner Cable’s OC16 and founded the VegFest O‘ahu festival. In 2016, Joy was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Hawai‘i State Senate declaring appreciation for her efforts to inspire greater health and sustainable lifestyles through uplifting media and engaging educational community events. Joy has received funding from the Hawai‘i Department of Education as well as the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority for her projects, and has been interviewed by Hawai‘i Public Radio about the rise of the plant-based movement in the islands.
