Makerspace provides an awesome opportunity for you to try the techy crafts you've always wondered about! Join us for Laser Engraving. 

You can laser engrave holiday cards or ornaments, use drift wood, make key rings, engrave on ceramic tile, and even use colored in to enhance your art! pretty much anything you can think of!!

From the instructor:

We have two laser engravers. The workshop covers how to safely use the laser engraver machines. We will be engraving various materials. We will make coasters or small wood coins, hearts and plaques of various sizes. We can create signs up to 8 X 12 inches. We can engrave some acrylic, painted metals, drift wood and various other materials. Make Christmas ornaments or even items for your mobiles. Bring in your small dry erase board as well. Have an item you may want to engrave? We may be able to engrave it too. We don’t laser metal or stone like materials. Rubber is not a good candidate either. Some plastics can be engraved. Thin veneer is another material that we like to laser. We can engrave some fabrics and leather as well.
