Course Description:

The rapidly growing grant writing industry is due to an ever-increasing need to obtain funding for projects or organizational development. This series cover phases within the grant writing process; terminology utilized in the industry; and essential steps required to develop a professional proposal.  

Speaker Bio:

Award-winning grant writer, Theresa Pinney, is affiliated with the Grant Professional Association and the Grant Professional Certification Institute. For more than ten years, she has obtained funding for her clients from government and private foundation grants as a professional grant consultant for her company, T. Pinney & Associates LLC. She began writing grants as a teacher and retired as a high school vice principal.  Ms. Pinney has been teaching grant writing across the country since 2008.  She has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Tampa and an MBA from Chaminade University.
