Course Description

A media literate person knows how to analyze and evaluate media experiences and create their own. They will know how to tell if media information is truthful or misleading. Students will learn about the six basic forms of media communication and their purposes. They will review some persuasion tools used by advertisers and others. This is an interactive course with videos and projects designed for fun and learning. This is the time to become media literate and to pass what you learn on to others.
