Course Description

Surveys the business environment, establishing a business entity, decision-making processes, marketing assessments, financing, operations considerations, and government regulations as they relate to the development of a formal business plan. It is designed for those who wish to start or are currently operating their own business.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

Hybrid (Combination of F2F and Online): Part of the class will meet on campus, either in-person or in a VideoConference room, at the scheduled days, times, and room. The remaining class instruction and learning activities will be online, either Synchronously at the days and times listed (using software such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, RealPresence, etc. Students must have a working camera and microphone), or posted on a site such as Laulima without specific meeting times.
