Course Description

This course is for the blue-collar supervisor who do not have a formal supervisory training. The course is composed of two modules:

1. The Role of the Supervisor - will focus on the nature of supervision, the transition from worker to supervisor, and the basic skills of supervision.

2. Problem Solving and Delegating - will focus on the understanding the problem solving and decision-making process. It will also discuss the steps in the delegation process and the use of delegation to save time and to train and motivate subordinates.

Learner Outcomes

1.  The participants will be able to identify supervisory responsibilities.

2.  The participants will be able to list the steps in solving problems and delegating effectively.
