Course Description

This is an introductory course in Thai massage. It will include basic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as the basis for for the practice and theory for Thai massage. Students will learn a full body floor routine using various Thai stretching techniques and proper body mechanics. 

Learner Outcomes

  • Summarize and discuss the theory of TCM as the basis for Thai massage
  • Recognize point locations and their effectiveness for treatment
  • Be able to perform a one-hour Thai floor stretching routine
