Course Description

This 10-week program will teach basic greetings, sales transactions, payment process, clothes and accessories, numbers  and colors, and other words and phrases commonly used by retail staff and visitors and customers from China.  This course also includes a concentration on Chinese behavior and the proper etiquette tied in with a cultural perspective on customer service expectations in the field of retail.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will gain proficiency in recognizing and responding to common Chinese words and phrases as they relate to customer service for retail.  They will also gain awareness and appreciation of the Chinese culture.
