Course Description

Whether you are just graduating from high school, switching careers and/or have a family member starting college, this is an opportunity to learn about how Kapi‘olani Community College supports students through their academic and personal goals. “Your Academic Journey with Kapi‘olani Community College” is a 4-part webinar series providing a foundational perspective on how to get started and the support one can expect.

Each webinar will take place at 5:00pm HST on the date listed below.

April 21: Financing Your Education

April 28: How the Placement Test Works

May 5: Support Services from Tutoring to Counseling

May 12: The Admissions and Registration Process

These webinars are presented by a committed team of Student Affairs Professionals ranging from Financial Aid to Academic Advising from Kapi‘olani Community College.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of the webinars, participants will:

have a better understanding of how to apply to Kapi‘olani Community College and complete the Financial Aid application.
understand the types of resources available to students.
