Course Description

"Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.” This is a quote from President & CEO Ed Schultz often used to describe the progression of Mauna Loa. In this webinar, Shultz delves into why innovation is essential for the future of the beloved 75-year-old company.  

Speaker Bio:

Ed Schultz has been President of the Hawaiian Host Group (HHG) since 2018. In 2020, he became President and CEO. Prior to joining HHG, he was president and owner of Honolulu Coffee. Schultz’s career started in New York working on growth equity investments and leveraged buyouts for BNP Paribas Merchant Banking Group and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He is currently on the board of the Hawai`i Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Chamber of Commerce Hawai`i. Schultz is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
