Course Description

This course builds on your understanding of the basic concepts of relational databases. You will learn how to report aggregated data using group functions. Controlling privileges at the object and system level are also dealt with in detail. You will learn how to create and query external tables. You will gain an understanding of the advanced features of SQL enabling you to query and manipulate data within the database, use the dictionary views to retrieve metadata and create reports about their schema objects. The date-time functions available in the Oracle Database are also covered. This course also discusses how to use the regular expression support in SQL. A practice certification exam is provided at the end of this course.
