Course Description

This one day hands-on course, is taught in a lecture-lab format to provide an introduction to IPv6 capabilities and the migration from IPv4 to IPv6. You will be familiarized with IPv6 terminology and features. You will also be introduced to the mechanisms and issues associated with transitioning to IPv6. Topics include transition mechanisms, IPv6 ICMP, status of IPv6, and IPv6 routing. Demonstrations and hands-on labs are provided to illustrate the use and implementation of IPv6.
