Course Description

The Kaimuki Business and Professional Association is a community organization serving businesses, residents, visitors and the community-at-large for 75 years.  The presenter will describe the legacy of the association and the community it serves.  

Speaker Bio:

Calvin Hara grew up in Kaimuki, attended Wai`alae Elementary School, Kaimuki Intermediate School and graduated from Kalani High School, lived in California, returned to Kaimuki and presently works in Kaimuki.  His career has been in senior care and volunteers for various organizations.  

Learner Outcomes

By the end of the webinar, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of the Kaimuki community as we move forward in contemporary society.
  • Understand that Kaimuki represents Hawai`i`s aloha and malama, from keiki to kupuna.
